This special America250 edition highlights the grit, skill, and competitive spirit of athletes from across the region as they step under the lights to make their mark.

Featured Undercard Bout: Cayden Tallant vs. Derrick James

AMATEUR FLYWEIGHT

Cayden Tallant made an impressive debut at Attitude MMA Fights 37, earning a unanimous decision victory over Aiden Hix in a three-round flyweight war that opened the card in Memphis. Tallant showed composure, cardio, and a willingness to engage that won over the crowd from the opening bell. Now he returns to The Coronet looking to build on that momentum against Derrick James, a flyweight out of Mississippi who is hungry to make his own mark on the Attitude MMA stage. James made his amateur MMA debut at Summit FC 53 in March 2026, falling to Johnny Slaughter via rear naked choke in the second round. That loss lit a fire — James knows what it feels like to come up short, and he’s coming to Memphis with the kind of desperation that makes debuting fighters dangerous. Tallant’s poise under pressure was evident in his first outing, but James has nothing to lose and everything to prove.

Mo Alsamari vs. Barak Muhammad

AMATEUR LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT

Mo Alsamari (4-1 amateur) is a rising lightweight out of Mississippi who has already made his presence felt on the Attitude MMA stage. At AMMA 36, Alsamari delivered a first-round TKO of Caleb Welch that announced him as a serious threat in the division. Before that, he submitted Reece Wilkes with a rear naked choke at AMMA 34 and has shown finishing ability in every outing — three of his four wins have come by stoppage, including two by rear naked choke and one by TKO. His only loss came via rear naked choke to Kylan Pierce at RDC 21, and he has bounced back with authority since.

Barak Muhammad (4-0 amateur) is an undefeated force fighting out of Memphis, Tennessee, and he has looked dominant in every outing. Standing 5’8″, Muhammad is the number-four ranked amateur lightweight in Tennessee on Tapology — a perfect record built on finishing ability and an ever-evolving skill set. His most recent outing saw him capture the Summit FC Lightweight Championship at Summit FC 52 in January 2026, stopping John Morrison with punches in the second round. Four fights, four wins, zero questions — Muhammad brings knockout power, a championship pedigree, and an unblemished record into this matchup with Alsamari. The winner could emerge as one of the top amateur lightweights in the Mid-South. This is a five-star matchup.

Darayvion Ester vs. Parker “Bad News” Byars

AMATEUR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT

Darayvion Ester (3-1 amateur) is a 6’4″, 252-pound heavyweight out of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who is currently ranked as the number-three amateur heavyweight in Tennessee on Tapology — a ranking he’s built across three fights at The Coronet. He is riding a two-fight win streak heading into AMMA 38. At AMMA 36, he submitted Rod Thomas with a rear naked choke in the second round, and at AMMA 28 he stopped Parker Byars himself by TKO in the second round. That’s right — these two have already fought, and Ester won decisively. His only loss came by unanimous decision to Will Redmond at AMMA 29.

Parker “Bad News” Byars (4-2 amateur) is a 28-year-old heavyweight out of Law School MMA in Memphis, standing 6’4″ with a massive 79-inch reach. A Rhodes College product with a freestyle wrestling foundation, Byars is one of the most physically imposing amateurs on the regional circuit. All four of his wins and both of his losses have come by KO/TKO — Byars does not see scorecards. His most recent victory was a second-round TKO of Blake Mitchell at AMMA 33, and he has also competed for the Attitude MMA Heavyweight Championship, falling to Joel “The Sniper” Faglier at AMMA 30. Byars already knows what it feels like to lose to Ester, and he’s coming back with bad intentions. This is a heavyweight rematch with knockout power on both sides — don’t blink.

Balderrama vs. Mosby

INTERIM AMATEUR TITLE — 145 POUNDS

This interim title bout at 145 pounds adds another layer of championship stakes to the night. Both fighters will be looking to stake their claim as the next in line, with gold on the line and a statement to make.

Main Card

This is where Attitude MMA 38 shifts into another gear. Tee Cummins vs. Brian Maxwell

PRO MIDDLEWEIGHT / LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT

This is a rematch — and it’s personal.

Tee “The Experiment” Cummins (5-2 MMA) is a Memphis-born knockout artist who has finished all five of his professional victories by KO or TKO. Training out of Memphis Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, Cummins is one of the most dangerous power punchers on the regional circuit. His hands are fast, his timing is lethal, and when he connects clean, fights end. His pro record includes stoppages in the LFA, Valor Fighting Challenge, and Bang FC, and he made his professional debut right here on the Attitude MMA stage at AMMA 19 with a 26-second knockout.

Brian “Mr. Red Rims” Maxwell (2-3 MMA) is a combat sports veteran out of Round 30 MMA in Rocky Mount, Virginia, who has competed across MMA, bare-knuckle boxing, and professional boxing. Maxwell is battle-tested, durable, and brings a brawler’s mentality that makes every fight he’s in unpredictable. He’s the kind of opponent who embraces chaos and thrives in firefights. These two have history. They met at Toe The Line 1 in September 2020 in a bareknuckle boxing bout, where Cummins took a unanimous decision. Maxwell has been waiting for another shot, and now he gets it — under MMA rules, in Cummins’ hometown, on the biggest stage in the Mid-South. Cummins has the power advantage. Maxwell has the experience and the chip on his shoulder. Something has to give.

CO-MAIN EVENT: Shawn Winland vs. Dakota Smith

PRO FLYWEIGHT

Shawn “The Don” Winland (0-2 pro) is a 26-year-old flyweight out of Cobra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Birmingham, Alabama, and he is hunting for his first professional victory. Standing 5’6″ with a 67-inch reach, Winland brings an extensive amateur background — eight wins across organizations like All In Combat, Rize FC, and Made Men Promotions — including finishes by strikes, arm-triangle choke, and rear naked choke. His pro losses came via submission to Ray Hewlett at XFA 2 in Knoxville and via brabo choke to Alex Preissing at RUF 65, but Winland has shown the grit and durability that keep him dangerous every time he steps into the cage.

Dakota “The Dream” Smith (3-4 pro) is a 25-year-old submission specialist out of Mississippi who has competed on the Attitude MMA stage three times — earning a first-round submission win over Tyler Forsythe at AMMA 30 before dropping a triangle choke loss to Erik Calvert at AMMA 31. All three of Smith’s professional victories have come by submission, including rear naked chokes and a first-round finish at CFFC 111. Smith recently earned his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, adding yet another credential to an already dangerous ground game — he is a pure grappler who can end the fight from anywhere on the mat, while Winland’s striking and scrambling ability give him the tools to keep it standing. Something has to give.

Main Event — 155-Pound Title Fight

Roland “The Armadillo” Pruden vs. Jacob “Hunter” Diaz —

Roland “The Armadillo” Pruden (7-2 pro) is a 21-year-old phenom out of Without Limits MMA in Batesville, Arkansas, and he is on an absolute tear. Standing 5’10” with a 71.5-inch reach, Pruden has compiled a resume that reads like a prospect destined for the big show. Seven of his nine professional bouts have ended in finishes — three by KO/TKO and three by submission — showing a complete skill set that is rare at this level. Pruden’s most recent outing saw him capture the 155-pound title at Primal Cage Wars in Memphis on February 14, 2026, stopping Nick Delahoussaye by TKO in the second round at just 31 seconds. Before that, he submitted Vicente Flores Jr. with a guillotine choke in one round, earned a unanimous decision win on the LFA 210 card, and blitzed through Irfan Mulabitinovic with first-round strikes. His only professional losses came against solid competition — a decision to Michael Blockhus on the LFA stage and a submission loss to Jose Perez. At 21, Pruden is already ranked as the number-one professional featherweight in Arkansas and number 664 pound-for-pound in North America on Tapology.

Jacob “Hunter” Diaz (6-2 pro) is a 25-year-old finisher out of The Goat Shed in Miami, Florida, and he arrives in Memphis riding a four-fight win streak that includes one of the most spectacular finishes in recent regional MMA. On February 14, 2026 — the same night Pruden won his title in Memphis — Diaz traveled to Argentina and captured the SFH Welterweight Championship by stopping Mauricio Ariel Pare with a devastating spinning back kick to the body in the first round. Standing 6’0″ and fighting primarily at welterweight, Diaz brings size, length, and fight-ending power. His four-fight streak also includes a second-round TKO of Rylan Oxholm, a unanimous decision over Zack Partridge at MMA Pro League 7, and a second-round TKO of Gus D’Angelo. Six of his eight professional bouts have ended in finishes — three by KO/TKO and two by submission. Diaz’s only losses came early in his career via submission, and he has evolved dramatically since.
